Dr. Tucker
graduated from Evergreen High School, Vancouver,
Washington in 1983 and received her BA from Western
Washington University in 1987. After teaching for a
couple years, Dr. Tucker went back to school to study
science where she was exposed to dentistry by fellow
students. After working as a dental assistant and
volunteering at the University of Washington Medical
Center’s dental clinic, Dr. Tucker decided dentistry was
the perfect career for her. Being a perfect combination
of arts and science, dentistry has provided Dr. Tucker
with an avenue to express her artistic side while
providing dental care. Right after receiving her degree
of Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of
Washington in 1995, Dr. Tucker started working for Puget
Sound Neighborhood Health Centers providing care for the
under served population of the Seattle Metro area. This
opportunity enabled Dr. Tucker to gain invaluable
experience in all fields of dentistry, along with a
chance to give back to the community. In 2001, Dr.
Tucker left the Puget Sound Neighborhood Health Center
to practice dentistry in her private downtown practice.
To Dr. Tucker, dentistry is so much more than her job,
it is her passion. |
